Abstract
The act of Khalwat with a non-maÍram woman is one of the many important issues in Islam. This is due to the Islamic law which does not allow any forbidden contact between the opposite sex outside of marriage and any kind of possibility that can lead to it. Therefore, I came up with this research, highlighting the khalwat issue based on the Islamic Law. I would also like to explain the reality of this crime in Brunei Darussalam provided the Brunei Law did emphasized this subject in one Chapter. The aim of this research is to increase awareness regarding the issue in Brunei, its causes and some suggestions on how to curb this issue.
