Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) has been considered as one of the effective ways in reducing poverty. This research will focus on the four MDIs in Brunei Darussalam that is JAPEM, MUIB, BEDB and YSHHB with the aims to identify the Training Needs Analysis (TNA) of the microfinance officers. A qualitative research method is used in doing the research. Interview has been done to all for MFIs in order to find the roles and tasks of these microfinance officers as well as the challenges and difficulties faced by the microfinance officers while holding their job. The finding of this study shows that there is no initiative had been taken in order to do a detailed Training Needs Analysis (TNA) for the microfinance officers to identify the exact training needed by microfinance officers in respect of their roles and tasks. Thus, analysis is done in order to identify the training needed by microfinance officers in respective to their roles and tasks.en_US
