Research into fundamental rules, and their practical study, is an important work, especially since these rules serve as jurisprudence, while scholars have gone on to explain the major rules, leaving the sub-rules, therefore this topic deals with the significance of release and limitation and their impact on the interpretation of Syariah texts in the study. To carry out this research, the writer aims to clear up the terms and expressions used with the method of descriptive analysis. This research consists of an introduction which includes the research proposal, a preliminary chapter, two chapters and a conclusion containing the findings and recommendations. The introductory chapter was in actuality made up of indications of proof relating to the topic. Chapter II explains the truth of release and restriction. Chapter III, on the other hand, details the clarification and conditions for release and restriction. It also offers the differences between scholars in the regulations of the matter. Finally, this research is concluded with the most important findings and recommendations, namely, that release and restriction are relative to one another and that before the acting on the absolute, there must be an indication or text to restrict the absolute.en_US
