dc.description.abstract | Islamic law came to guide human beings in all aspects of life, therefore, guiding towards the truth
and preventing from committing crimes that could endanger to every individual and society and
to help people refrain from committing crimes and prevent from bad behaviors. Thus, both
punishments duniawi and ukhrawi are arranged for their criminal acts. This research aims to
explain the philosophy of crime and its punishment in Islamic jurisprudence. Hence, this research
based on jurisprudence and contemporary books on crime and punishment in Islamic law and it
according to descriptive, analytical and comparative approach. This research concludes that
Islamic law has its own philosophy of crime and punishment, and this philosophy will guarantee
the reform of society and its protection from all forms of criminals. | en_US |
