Abstract

This research is a theoretical and analytical study on the subject of the concept’s semantics and its impact on understanding the legal texts from the Qur’an and Sunnah, with a serious attempt to answer the most important questions about the reality of the concept, its connotations and its position in the legal texts, and the extent to which it is possible to understand the legal texts without understanding their apparent and hidden implications, with mentioning The effect of the semantics of the concept in understanding the legal texts, without neglecting to mention the disagreement among the jurists in the effect of its semantics. All these questions in themselves are the issues that the researcher seeks in this research. The approach applied in this research is based on the library study with its two methods of induction and analysis alike, through which it is activated to deal with texts and information that have been diagnosed and examined through the inductive, analytical and descriptive method, in order to reach the desired goal.
