عادات الزواج في بروناي دارالسلام ومدى تأثرها بالشريعة الإسلامية

Abstract

Marriage is one of the sunnah things that were done by the Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him (PBUH) where it is to solemnize their relationship. In marriage, it will often be accompanied by the word custom. Custom are part and parcel of a society and it is very important to them so it can not be abandoned. In the Malay community in Brunei Darussalam, there are practices that have become a must to perform such as in marriage ceremony. The results of this study will discuss about the wedding customs that are performed in Brunei Darussalam. Also, throw the light to the practices in the marriage customs that do and do not abide to the teachings of Islam. The reference from this study is to use the reference of books related to this topic and also use the method of interviewing people who have experience with the title of my study. Among the things that will be discussed in my study is the understanding of marriage, understanding of customs, introduction to wedding events in Brunei Darussalam and finally about whether the customs are in line with Islam or not.
