Abstract

This research aims to highlight the problem of crime in Brunei Darussalam, especially the crime that lies in human life. The researcher followed the descriptive approach and analytical approach of the Qur'an and sunnah and the statements of scholars in the jurisprudential books and books on the Law of Brunei. This research determines only how the murder is committed, but also, the focus on the verdict of murder. My analysis is limited to crimes involving any murder or homicide crimes that are prohibited and forbidden and against our religion and that is Islam. At the end of the research, the researcher talks about its cases, its punishment, and its objectives of analysis, that are practiced in the Shariah Court in Brunei Darussalam.
