Contemporary Issues in Fasting

Abstract

The purpose of making this research is to provide a more detailed explanation and understanding in each of the contemporary issues related to fasting which I have included in this research. I have written three contemporary issues that arise and which is related to fasting. The first issue is about the situation of a person who takes the covid-91 swab test during the fasting day in the month of Ramadan. The second issue is about the law of modern medical surgery and its effect on fasting and the third issue is related to fasting for diabetics. All these issues are based on diligence and the most correct opinions from Fiqh scholars.. The writing methodology I used in this research are reading and referring to the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet, and to the books of Fiqh and other information which related to my research on the internet.
