Abstract

This research comes to represent one of those cycles of efforts exerted through the history to explain the miracle of the Holy Quran, to establish the secret of Tafarrud (only one of its kind) of some words of the Holy Quran that have not been repeated in the whole of the Holy Quran. The roots of such words have not also been repeated in any other context; for this reason the present study is confined to Faraid of (the past tense, the imperative, nouns and noun of verbs). The study did not treat the present tense which another scholar has studied it. The present research follows the integrated method that benefits from the historical which follows the phenomenon from its inception, as well as from the person who produces and uses it through the periods till its present entity and the analytical linguistic method which is useful for analyzing words linguistically, for understanding the meaning and the descriptive method that traces the specificity of the phenomenon and its characteristics. This is followed by highlighting the concept of Faraid and its rhetorical consequences and aesthetic value.
