Abstract

This study was made to analyze the Professionalism of Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wassalam in trade. This research contains information about the beginning of the history of Arab trade during the pre -Islamic era in brief so that it grew rapidly under the leadership of the ancestors of Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wassalam and followed by the Prophet before and after the prophethood. Furthermore, this study includes evidence from the main sources; Al-Quran and Al-Hadith. The researcher uses the descriptive method to examine and describe the history of Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wassalam’s trade from the starting point of His trade journey and will be stated first then will be studied and divided into certain parts. The findings of this study show that the trade of Rasulullahu Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wassalam has many messages and preaching to human beings indirectly by doing trade activities that are accurate and based on Islamic law. Therefore, this study explains that the Prophet Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wassalam is a good example for Muslims to emulate in their lives, including in doing trade activities.
