Abstract

This research aims to introduce the meaning of Secularism in Brunei Darussalam and its dangers and threats well as to bring awareness to the Muslim around the world , especially in Brunei Darussalam to protect Islam from the secular intrigue. Most Muslims do not know the real purpose of the Secularism and its efforts to stop the islamic misiionary and have faith with secular beliefs. The researcher used descriptive method with reference resources available in the university library and network access to the internet. The researcher also used the method of analysis while discussing the government's effort in addressing Secularism in Brunei especially in the areas of education, the media and the law which are considered the major tools in spreading the principles of Secularism. The role of government in addressing this aberrant thought are with the establishment of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and religious schools as well as using the islamic mass media such as visual media ,audio media and print media
