Islam is a pure religion that could guide the way of a person's life thoroughly by Allah the Almighty. Muslims are encouraged to inculcate love and affection among them in the Islamic way. Love is known for its universal significantion and Allah's love is a true love towards his creation. Therefore, the objective of the research is to reveal the story behind Valentine's Day which celebrates on 14th February every year, and to explain the Islamic perspectives towards it. The researcher follows the inductive and objective approach in meeting the key deliverables of the research. In the inductive approach, the researcher points out the story about Saint Valentine, who was remembered by his people upon his death on 14th February and name it 'The Valentine's Day as a symbol of love. The outcome of this research indicates the celebration of Valentine's Day was from western, not from Islam. The research also included some information and explanation about the prohibition to celebrate the day as it has been mentioned in the Holy Quran, Hadith of the Prophet Muhamad (Peace be upon him), and as well as Fatwa from religious scholars around the worlden_US
