| dc.description.abstract | This research intended to discuss the Islamic preaching tuned by a local radio network namely Nur Islam, Radio Television Brunei. It aims to deliver the Islamic preaching and Islamic source of information that gathered through self-effort by the radio deejay and co-operation with different parties. In the context of preaching studies of Islam, it is obligatory for Muslims to have a sense of responsibility in spreading the message of Islam. Allah (s.w.t.) revealed the revelation to the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.) and then entrusted to disseminate all verses that have been revealed. He started preaching among his family secretly and then reached the stage of preaching directly among the people. In this modern era of globalization, we are equipped with lots of facilities, for example, television, radio, mobile, internet, Facebook, etc. With these facilities, the message of Islam and Islamic information become easy to spread quickly to the public. Thus, Radio Television Brunei is initiatively setting up a radio network that broadcasts Islamic religious affairs according to Ahl Sunnah Wal Jamaah and thus reinforces the message of Islam through mass media in Brunei Darussalam. Hence, the Islamic preaching through radio network lead to a positive response among listeners and it is the best way to grab public's attention upon accepting the message of Islam.
