| dc.description.abstract | This research aims to disclose the misconceptions about Islam and muslims after the September 11 attacks. Obviously after the attacks, people around the world accuse Islam as a religion that supports terrorism, and loves violence and killing people. As a result, muslims in the world face amny challenges which have negative impacts on Islam and muslims in the world. Thus, Muslims and islamic countries are responsible to acquit the name of Islam from any false accusations and allegations and to protect the muslims. The researcher in writing her thesis follows the descriptive and analytical approach to reach the objectives of this research. With these method, the researcher learn about the September 11 attacks from the global media and academic books and studies that have been done by the researcher and experts to find the mastermind who is behind this conspiracy. Through this academic research, the researcher explains the truth about Islam and its position against terrorism and extremism and its non recognition of terrorism and suicide bombing .
