| dc.description.abstract | This study deals with the life and thought of Sayyid Qutb on the islamic holy war (Jihad) from his views as have been presented in Suratul-Anfal. The studyn aims to concentrate on the concept of jihad among the jurists in general and on Sayyid Qutb's thought in particular, showing the Jihad duty, wisdom behind it, its place in Islam and the great reward that Allah has prepared to holy warriors (Jahdists) to encourage them to do it. In investigating this topic , the study depends on applying collectively the descriptive ,deductive, analytical and inductive methods to explain Sayyid Qutbs Jihad thought. The result of the study indicated that Sayyid Qutb graet islamic preacher who waged war by his tongue, pen, and self with the purpose of removing oppresion and enslavement of man to his/her fellow man bring, the with the intention of brining jugdement back to Allah , the almighty and that Jihad in Islam as well as its aims will not be fulfilled without the availability of some reasons which include the personality of the Jihadist who should undergo stages of self Jihad, followed by preparation of means and power and then a unified leadership. | en_US |
