Abstract
This study is about Arabic Homonym and its teaching to Malay-speaking students. The study consists of five chapters, preceded by an introduction followed by a conclusion. The introduction included the basics of the study, justifications on choosing its topic, study problems and questions, objectives and importance, scope and limits, methods and sources, previous studies and structure. The first chapter explains specifically about the concept of Homonyms and its origin, and the attitude of the ancients and modernists. The second chapter is about the construction of language learning units, defining their concept, objectives, characteristics, contents, building steps, and stages used in teaching. The third chapter is about the design of language learning modules including common names, while the linguistic learning units in the field of common verbs came through a variety of diverse exercises in the last chapter. The researcher focused its study through descriptive approach, and concluded with a summary, specifically for its general and specific results, the importance of which was the difference of the homonym in the morphological forms between the Arabic and Malay languages. This was followed by suggestions and recommendations, together with the sources and references given.
