Abstract

Most of people today do not know the importance of hunting and slaughtering, the rules and the requirements in terms of halal and haram. This scientific exercise will discuss about hunting and slaughtering according to Islamic laws. This scientific exercise contains two clauses, in which the first clause discusses about hunting and what is related to it in terms of the requirements and the correct method of hunting. The second clause will discuss about the laws of slaughtering in Islam and what is related to it in terms of the requirement, types and slaughter methods, this scientific exercise will also discuss about the modern ways of slaughter. The methods used in this study are: Reading method, by referring to fiqh books and references related to hunting and slaughtering. Hopefully this scientific exercise can benefit and can be a reference to readers, especially to students and institutions to read and understand of hunting and slaughtering according to Islamic laws.
