dc.description.abstractThis paper describes about the legal ruling regarding dyes in Islamic Jurisprudence. It focuses on the ethics of usage of dyes for women and men, and the colour that are allowed to be used. This paper also describes the usage of dyes as medicine as some medicine practitioners in Islam using dyes as a remedy for certain diseases. The title also covers discussion on contemporary issues related to dye usage, other than henna that is widely available in stores. Therefore, this paper is made based on the opinions of four schools of mazhab and several fatwa, as well as their proofs in supporting for their opinions.en_US
