Abstract

This research aims to study the fiqh choices of Imam Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani, in the book of Zakat through his explanation on Sahih Al-Bukhari, In order to find out his method in dealing with antiquities and Sunnah and its relationship to opinions and understandings, The study relied on the descriptive analytical method by combining Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani’s choices and studying them in a comparative analytical study. The researcher reached a set of results, the most important of which are: The number of issues that stood on it, which mentioned the choice of Imam Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani, (may God Almighty have mercy on him), in the book of Zakat reached thirty issues, Imam Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani, (may God have mercy on him), agreed with the madhab Shafi’i on twenty-four issues, He disagreed on six issues on madhab, Imam Ibn Hajar followed the method of discussion, analysis, and comparison in jurisprudential matters, He bring the scholars statements and evidence, Then he discusses the evidence objectively, And he respond to weak on that, He chooses the most correct opinion without intolerance of the Shafi’i madhab, Imam Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani does not differentiate between selection and weighting. he is not related the words for weighting and others for selection, Rather, he has diversified and has many words, A single word may be used in multiple positions, depending on the context.
