Abstract

This research studies method of Imam 'Izz al-Din bin 'Abd al-Salam in Da'wah. This research tries to answer the following research questions: Who is Imam 'Izz al-Din bin 'Abd al-Salam? What us the concept of Da'wah under him? What is the approach pursued by the imam in Da'wah? What are the methods and means used by the Imam in Da'wah? What are the efforts of the Imam in Da'wah? This research aims to identify the personality of Imam 'Izz al-Din bin 'Abd al-Salam and his approach and methods in Da'wah to benefit the modern era. This research is based on the inductive and analytical approaches to keep track the work of Imam 'Izz al-Din bin 'Abd al-Salam and its effects which relates to approach of the Imam in Da'wah for the analysis of what was appropriate approach of Da'wah, as he did on the descriptive approach, which is based on the description of the life of Imam in his community and his service to the Da'wah depending on the sources and references that talked about him, to prove the scientific facts in order to identify the approach of the Imam in Da'wah. Finally, the study concluded by mentioning the most important findings, recommendations and suggestions. These include: Imam 'Izz al-Din bin 'Abd al-Salam is one of the prominent scholars and virtuous preachers who had a prominent role in spreading the correct Da'wah messages, and his positions of decisive in many cases till he was nicknamed as the 'King of Scholars' through his positions with kings, sultans and princes, where he challenged them with strong arguments and facts till he defeated them, he topped in this course. The study recommends the collection of all the works of Imam 'Izz al-Din bin 'Abd al-Salam including his interest, classification and study and put them in one series, translating of his work into many international languages, such as English, French, Urdu, and Malay, and many other languages, as well as the establishment of a website bearing the name of Imam 'Izz al-Din bin 'Abd al-Salam, for Muslims all over the world to be able to benefit from his knowledge, and learn about the successful efforts in the service of Islam and Muslims.
