dc.description.abstract | The subject of this research study is Novel Di Bawah Lindungan Ka'bah Written By Hamka Arabic Translation And Study. Some of the aims and objectives of this study are to translate this Indonesia famous novel into Arabic Language and discover Hamka's techniques in novel writing and the extent to which he has been influenced by the novel writers modern Arab literature. The study consists of two parts, an introduction, a prelude, and a conclusion. The introduction comprises reasons for selecting the topic, aims, its significance, aspects, limitations, its methodology which is both analytical and aesthetic methods, research questions, structure and literature review. The prelude consists of two chapters, the first deals with an introduction to Hamka's personality, the factors that had influenced his thought and art, his literary position and contribution. The second chapter is about the presentation of the novel, its subject matter, position and summary. The first part dealt with the analytical and aesthetic study of the novel in which an effort was made to show the artistic elements of the novel. The elements included; the plot, characters, background and moral, while the artistic chapter indicated the techniques followed by Hamka in presenting the events of the novel with emphasis on his style and artistic characteristics. The second part of the study includes three chapters; the first chapter of which is for the novel translation in which the researcher followed Associate Professor Dr. Arif Karkhi Abukhudairi's method in translating literary works. The second chapter is for my way in the translation and the third chapter is for the problems that I have found in translation process. The conclusion of the study consists of a brief summary and general and special findings that the study and the translation were able to derive from the novel. The findings show that this translation is the first Arabic translation of this novel. It confirms the appearance of clear Arab novelists' influences on Hamka; especially the famous Egyptian novelist, Mustafa Lutfi Al Manfaluti. | en_US |
