Abstract
This research aims to identify the Covering Dress in the Holy Qur’an, its contributions and to know the human need in it. Because as Allah blessed every creature with suitable dress, He has also blessed human-being with two dresses: materialistic covering dress for external genitals and moral covering dress for psychological defects, He completed his external and internal beauty. The researcher uses subjective interpretation approach in order to fulfill the mentioned objective, based on this definition of dresses linguistically and technically and Shari’ah perspective. Explaining that there is a difference between Shari’ah and customary dress because everything that falls under dress definitions do not corresponding with Islamic dress. As it has its conditions, provisions and limitations. Talking about the honor that Allah has honored human with materialistic covering dress and excess. Completing his beauty with decorated dress and negligence of some people in them by choosing dresses that contradict with Shari’ah limitations by not feeling the blessing of Allah in them, lack of modesty, and discipline, and about the real varieties of dress in the Holy Qur’an and Prophetic Hadith and to inference to views of scholars discussing them and regarding as most correct provisions and opinions with strong evidence and types of moral dresses in the Holy Quran their concept with explaining the benefits of good dresses and damages of evil dresses and Shari’ah orders to stick to and the necessity to avoid it. The research concluded that the dress that contradicts with Shari’ah provisions and the evil moral dress will end in danger that no one knows the extent of its damages except Allah the Almighty. This research presents some effective solutions in order to avoid the problems of these evil dresses and the reason of people falling in them compared with the dress the consists of Shari’ah covering dress and good moral dress in order that it will not exceed one of Shari’ah principles for materialistic covering dress and it will not neglect in the moral good dress.
