Abstract

This research is about the teaching of the six books of ‘As-Sihah’ at Institute of Ibn Umar Sri Lanka. Researcher aims to identify the role of Institute Ibn Umar in upbringing the teaching of the Prophet (peace be upon him). Researcher presents the methods used in its teaching and analyzes the suitability and it’s strength in achieving its mission. On the other hand, researcher gives some recommendations and suggestions to enhance and improve the teaching of the six books of ‘As-Sihah’. Researcher uses descriptive method, historical and also field study method to conduct this study. Researcher ends this study with a chapter that gives all the results achieved in this study, and researcher found that although Institute of Ibn Umar Sri Lanka was established to be specialized in upbringing the teaching of the Prophets, it is not fully equipped with basic teaching resources in that field.
