Abstract

This research aims to understand the importance and the responsibility of Breastfeeding and custody in Islam, especially in the living society of people of Brunei Darussalam. Through this study, researchers used the approach of quantitative research methods which include clarification of the role and importance of Breastfeeding and Child Custody accompanied by a questionnaire survey of 30 mothers who give positive and negative responses about it. In addition, the opinion of the scholars also emphasized beside the views of medical doctor. The findings of this study shows that nowadays mothers in society can carry out the role of its responsibilities but there are also a handful of them are still relying help to assume that role due to some factor times. Therefore, this study provides several solutions that can be overcome and the views were effective to address the challenges faced by women, especially in playing the important role of a mother in Islam responsibility.
