| dc.description.abstract | This thesis gives insight on the rulings for minors in ibadah in the opinion of Mazhab Syafie. It consists of three parts. The first part gives the definition of children both in literal and contextual sense, and also words with similar meanings to children, and texts related to children in the Quran and Hadith. The second part contains explanation about Al-Ahliyyah, its classifications, factors that may lead to the loss of Ahliyyah, as well as the rulings of children’s responsibility for ibadah. This section also justifies the phases that children have to go through, that is the fetal stage, pre-mumayyiz, mumayyiz, and puberty stages. The third section depicts the rulings associated with children which includes taharah, prayer, zakah, fasting, and pilgrimage. To elucidate the issues related to children, I also expound the opinions of the Fuqaha of Mazhab Syafie together with the evidence and arguments discussed amongst them. | en_US |
