dc.description.abstract | There are some women's rights in Islamic law. In this study, I discussed women's rights in judicial, economic and political matters. This research has several problems, including human awareness of women's rights. People believe that women can be judges like in civil courts. The objectives of the research are to know the rights of women to the people, to clarify and explain some rights for women, and to develop understanding of women's rights in Islamic jurisprudence and the law of Brunei. As for my references, I read several books, research and articles o women's rights in Islamic jurisprudence and the law of Brunei. I will also interview some staff and teachers to ask them about their knowledge of women's rights in the judicial, economic and political spheres in Brunei law. In this research, there are three chapters. First, the introduction. Secondly, i=on definitions. Thirdly, on women's rights in Islamic jurisprudence and the law of Brunei. As will be seen in this study, women have no right in the jurisdiction of the judiciary and I have expressed some opinions from the jurisdiction on this issue in this research. Furthermore, women have a lot of rights in the economy, such as their right to own property, their right to defend their land and land, and their right to inherit legacy. Women's political rights are just like their right to vote and to contest for elections. In addition to that, I also write about the rights of women in the Brunei law as stated in the 1999 Islamic Family Law. Lastly, I hope that this study will benefit the public in reading its contents and using it. | en_US |
