dc.description.abstract | This study centered on the novel ‘Amaliqah al-Shamal’ by Najeeb Kilani. And it consists of introduction, four chapters and conclusion. The introduction contains the reasons for selecting this study, the research objectives, methods, scope and boundaries of this study. The first chapter begins with a complete introduction of the author, and highlights the special features that may possess and determine the elements. This study reveals all the contributions of the author in terms of ideas that led to his position in modern Arabic literature. The second chapter contains an analytical study of the structural elements of the novel, begins with a reference and summary, followed by the main ideas, motives, characters, time, place, social environment, the events, conflicts, and ended with the solutions. The third chapter contains an aesthetic study of the language style, plot, description of characters and events and focuses on novel methods of storytelling. In the fourth chapter, the novel is placed under the scope of critics views, and stating its position among works of art in modern Islamic literature. The conclusion consists of a summary and specific findings obtained by the researcher. Najeeb Kilani is regarded as the pioneer of Islamic literature, especially in the art of novel as he wrote more than 40 novels. The novel ‘Amaliqah al-Shamal’ is which the author deals with issues and problems of the Muslim world in general and Nigeria particular as it is one of the islamic country. | en_US |
