استراتيجيات تطوير مهارة الكلام باللغة العربية لغير الناطقين بها لدى الطلبة في المدارس العربية الثانوية ببروناي دار السلام: دراسة وصفية تحليلية
Abstract
This study aims to find out the learning and teaching strategies followed by teachers and students in Brunei Darussalam in process of enhancing speaking skills in Arabic language. It also aims to find out whether there are significant differences in selecting strategies between students and teachers resulting the gender factor. The sample of this study is selected from students and teachers of Arabic Secondary Schools in Brunei Darussalam. The study is carried following the descriptive and analytical approach. The questionaire, interview and observation are used as tool of different data collection. The study finds that the respondants used to follow different types of strategies such as strategy of memorization, cognitive strategy including to compensation strategy, metacognitive strategy, affective strategy and social strategy. The degrees of using the strategy varies amongst the subject between high, medium and low usage. The study also finds that there is no differences between the subjects due to gender in using these strategies. In viewing the results of this study, the researcher suggests that teachers and learners of Arabic as a second language have to pay more attention to the diversity in using all strategies to improve their performance during the teaching and learning different language tasks.
