Abstract

Women’s position this era of globalization, are not left behind in contributing energy and ideas to the development of our religion, country and society. The expertise of women today, encourage her to be bold in venturing into fields and aspects. The profession of preachers that was previously pioneered by men, has begun to include women as eligible preachers in the society. Even the da'wah programs in the electronic media that feature women preachers are also receiving public attention. Hence, this research focuses on the involvement of women preachers through electronic media in the efforts of spreading Islamic da’wah, sharing of knowledge and islah spiritual. In addition to identifying the islah raised by women preachers for society development. Interviews have been conducted on several women preachers who are directly involved in da'wah programs in electronic media, this is the methodology used to gather information and complete this research. Not only that the women preachers need to be equipped with the knowledge of Islam, they also need to be adorned with morality and ethical behavior, to be emulated by the general society. Therefore in this era of digital, the involvement of women as preachers continue to be relevant and become a necessity to be executed in a practical and flexible manner, in order to draw society closer to the teachings of Islam.
