dc.description.abstract | Ownership is the relationship approved by Shara’ between people and their properties. As we knew that Allah created man with spirit and desires, which drives him to achieve and loves toward properties, and Allah gave His blessing by preparing properties on His slaves. Therefore, the researcher chose to choose this title, "Ownership in Islamic Jurisprudence and the Law of Brunei", to clarify and discusses the concept of ownership in Islamic perspective and then the view of ownership by the law of Brunei. The researcher follows the Library Research to access all information and references, which relate to this subject. This research contains three chapters and the conclusion. In the First Chapter, we will discuss the theory of ownership in Islamic jurisprudence and the law of Brunei. Then in the Second Chapter was exposed to the three pillars of the ownership and attempts to check on various types of ownership and the limit to each type of ownership. In the Third Chapter, the researcher spoke from a source of ownership property, a gift. Finally, the conclusion. The research concluded that ownership is a legitimate link between man and the thing he owns, which makes him capable of acting in a competent manner.
