dc.description.abstractThis academic exercise, titled “Doctor’s Responsibilities; According To Islamic Jurisprudence And Law”. In this academic exercise, the researcher explains about a doctor's responsibilities towards his patients. The objective of this study is to explain the responsibilities that should be carried out by a doctor whenever he commits a malpractise on his patients apart from the punishments designated by law. This academic exercise comprises of three sections. In the first section, the researcher explains about the definition of “responsibilities” and “medical aspects”. In the second section, the researcher explains about the doctor's responsibilities when committing malpractises. Meanwhile, in the third section the researcher studies the Doctor's Professional Ethics in Brunei Darussalam. The researcher uses inductive method of research in order to gather information on this topic, as well as interview and internet surfing. At the end of the study, the researcher concludes that The Medical Law or Act in Brunei Darussalam should be in line consistently coordinated with the Syariah Law in order to ensure all the doctors deliver their services and responsibilities accordingly towards their patients.en_US
