Abstract: This research aims to identify the issue of Islamic legal issues in the context of tourism. This thesis contains three sections. The first section contains the meaning of tourism and it’s types and this section is divided into three divisions which is the first and the second section contains the meaning of tourism and the last section is the types of tourism. The second section contains the tourism law according to Fiqh Islam and this section is divided into three divisions which is the evidences from Al-Quran and Sunnah that approves tourism, tourism law in Islamic countries and tourism law in non-muslim countries. The last section in this thesis I will discuss about the law of tourism according to Brunei’s Law and this section divided into two divisions which contains the definition of tourism from Brunei’s Law and the law difference between Fiqh Islam and Brunei’s Law. Tourism is the favourable activity during holidays. Some tourists love to visit historical places and some of them loves travelling for shopping and going to playgrounds. At the same time, are the tourists know which place is forbidden or not. Lastly I hope this thesis will be beneficial amongst people, because have yet to fully understood about the law of tourism according to Fiqh Islam and Brunei’s Law.
