Abstract

Marriage is considered as the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him). In Islam, Muslims generally learned about its provisions, its conditions, and other matters related to it. This research is to find out the conditions of marriage in Brunei Darussalam constitution of law, such as the request for permission to marry inside and outside the country before marriage. Marriage abroad is often held without permission, and this results in problems in society and law. One of the reasons for marriage outside the country is polygamy, or the Wali is not giving their child consent to marry. There are fines imposed on those who commit such crimes.
