Abstract

This paper is discussing about legal ruling regarding neighbourhood in Islamic Jurisprudence. The study method of this paper by doing literature reviews and obtaining some informations from the internet. The purpose of this paper is to highlight about the true definition of the neighbours and to take note of useful informations which are related to the neighbours in term of its importance and its rights and also to explain the benefits of neighbours in forming a peaceful and tranquil environment. In this paper, will prove that the significance of the unity neighbourhood and it is a sign of faith. This paper also suggested enlightening people on the importance of neighbourhoods and maintaining the honour and their rights in accordance with the guidelines of Islamic Law. It is hoped that this paper could also be a reference and guidance for institutions and schools, particularly in Brunei Darussalam.
