Abstract

This academic writing is required to qualify for a bachelor degree in Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali titled NUSYUZ AMONG MARRIED COUPLE AND IT’S SOLUTIONS: THE STUDY OF COMPARATIVE FIQH. Nusyuz intends fallen and broken obedience. In this thesis, it contains four chapters that discuss about matters related to Nusyuz. The first chapter explains the meaning of Nusyuz in terms of language and its meaning according to the four Mazhab (Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi’e and Hanbali). Then about the evidence of Nusyuz which is stated in Al-Quran and As-Sunnah. In the second clause debate about Nusyuz conditions which can be attributed to the wife, husband or both and the reasons that may cause Nusyuz. The third chapter describes the problems associated with Nusyuz and in the fourth clause describes the ways to overcome the problem Nusyuz in the opinion of the four Mazhab. From this topic, I now know that the Nusyuz can cause by Husband and wife. Therefore by reading and understanding this topic, I hope the Nusyuz problem can be solved so that we can live under happy family. The main reason on choosing this topic is to know the rights of married couple to build a good family.
