Abstract

This research aims to know well about the reality of sexual harassment, what are its causes in its events, and also about its rulings in Islamic jurisprudence and how the law is organized in Brunei Darussalam. Therefore, the researcher relied in this research on the descriptive approach, that is, the researcher collected information from sources and references that are directly and indirectly related, such as books of jurisprudence and other references. At the end of the research, the researcher reached several conclusions, most notably : The concept of sexual harassment in the language and terminology of Islamic law and Brunei law, Among the types of sexual harassment: verbal harassment, signal harassment, electronic bullying harassment, psychological harassment and physical harassment. Researcher are also looking for reasons for the occurrence of sexual disorders, including: mental health, which is usually caused by addiction problems, and personality disorders where they enjoy the disorder, and also because of black childhood experiences and a bad environment, where there is no control over on the presence of social media applications and how to avoid them in Islamic law and Brunei law. In addition, regarding the impact of sexual harassment on victims and society. And finally, regarding the law and punishment for those who commit sexual harassment in Islamic law and Brunei law.
