Abstract

If both are good, it will be good and the nation will be good, on the other hand if both are corrupted, then the nation will be corrupted. (Who are they?) the ulama and the umara'. Researchers see that the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam is now one of the Islamic countries that practice Islamic teachings in all aspects. And this is from the contribution and impact of Ulama who cooperated with Umara. This shows how important the role of the relationship between Ulama and Umara is, but many do not know who the Ulama worked with Umara in the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam. In this research, it shows how the relationship between Ulama and Umara in the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam, precisely in the middle of the 20th century. One of the objectives of this study is to realize who the Ulama and Umara are in general and in Brunei Darussalam and their roles and how the relationship between Ulama and Umara in the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam in the middle of the 20th century AD and also to tell that the majesty of the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam now is a collaboration between Ulama and Umara of the past. In this scientific research, the researcher uses descriptive and historical methods through reading and commenting to achieve the goals stated above.
